Short Profile—Andrew Mukamal
I’ve recently come across the work and opinions of stylist and blogger Andrew Mukamal, who sends out a daily fashion communiquévia YouTube. It’s interesting to see Mukamal’s perspective. He is an expert on both menswear and womenswear from the past few seasons. In watching his videos, one can get a sense of what Mukamal is about. He has a very definite passion for clothes and trends that resonates in what he says. One video I just watched detailed the key look of the Balenciaga Fall 2007 collection. He showed his various pieces from Céline to J.Crew, and how, in his way, they could all be related back the Balenciaga look. It demonstrates the importance of that collection.
On a more biased note, I have to say that I’m quite sure Mukamal is my long lost twin. Our tastes are surprisingly similar, and I can’t wait to see more of what he has to offer.
